Detailed Instructions on How to Consign:
-
First-time consignors must make an appointment in order to complete the Consignment Agreement Form (feel free to review before coming in–found in the menu tab) and review the consignment process with staff.
-
During an appointment the new or returning consignor may bring 60 items or less to the back of the store, giving staff 15-30 minutes to look at their pieces. Not all items are guaranteed to be accepted for consignment. The consignor will complete the Consignment Agreement Form if it’s their first time consigning. Once staff has finished going through all items the consignor may retrieve any non-accepted items and hangers/reusable containers, and their Item Intake Form at the end of the appointment period.
-
For consignors who already have an account, “Drop, Dash, Donate” is available– drop-off no more than 20 items in a single drop-off and staff will go through the items at their own pace (usually not same-day). Each returning consignor is limited to 2 drop-off’s per month. Staff will go through the items at their own pace and automatically donate whatever is not taken in for consignment, along with any bags, bins, suitcases and/or hangers used to bring in the items. All donations go to Laura’s House in San Juan Cap. Donation receipts are not given to consignors.
-
“Drop, Dash, Donate” window: Tuesday – Thursday 11:00 – 3:00
-
All apparel is required to be “floor ready” (dry cleaned, laundered and/or steamed), and in excellent condition. See “Apparel Standards” tab for what season is currently being accepted and more details on condition standards. A steaming fee may be charged to the consignor’s account if more than 5 items need care.
-
Items are recommend to be brought in on hangers, but can be brought in suitcases or bags.
