1.  Purchase nice quality foundational/basic clothing pieces: Slacks, Top, Dress, Blazer, Shoes. 2. Always add accessories to each outfit to complete the finished look from head to toe. 3. Have a good understanding of your “fashion style” and only purchase items that fit into that style. Don’t try and dress like your friend if your body type and fashion style are different. 4. Dress (and shop) for the body type you have NOW. Don’t wait to lose/gain weight to make your purchase. 5. Mix your fashions with expensive (high end) and not-so expensive (low end) pieces. No one will know the difference. 6. Only add one or two “On-Trend” fashion pieces to your wardrobe each season. 7. Make sure your shoes don’t distract from your outfit by being worn-out, tattered. 8. Don’t let your handbag over power or be the focal point of your outfit. 9. Make sure your fabric print/patterns fit your body size. 10. Don’t let a “Sale” rack dictate your purchase.
